As long a Flash

All things considered,

It lasted just as long as a flash

Time is relative,

It bends, stretches and longs with every breath

I look back and can’t perceive it 

For longer than a flash

As if I forgot to put in the roll

I look forward to perceive 

But can’t sense more than the feeling 

Of the fleeting present

“Where did all of it go?”, 

I now realise why they say this

Leading to the interim that,

It was never supposed to stay.

And be grateful that it was
